By booking, paying for, or participating in any consultation or reading — including Feng Shui consultations (on-site or virtual), Chinese Astrology / BaZi natal charts, Qi Men Oracle readings, Tarot Deep Readings, Personal Luck Portal calculations, and Date Selection (collectively, the “Services”) — offered by Secrets of Wisdom · NZ (“Provider,” “I,” or “me”), you (“Client,” “you”) agree to the terms below. Please read them in full before completing payment.
The Services are provided for educational, spiritual, and entertainment purposes only. Astrological charts, tarot readings, Qi Men calculations, and Feng Shui consultations are interpretive and subjective. They should not be used as a definitive guide for major life, legal, financial, or medical decisions. No specific outcome, result, or benefit is promised or guaranteed.
The Provider is not a licensed medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, attorney, financial advisor, architect, or structural engineer. The Services do not constitute, and should never replace, professional medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, or structural advice. Where a Date Selection or reading touches on medical matters (such as surgery, treatments, or vaccinations), any dates or suggestions are timing preferences only, are not medical advice, and should never override the guidance of your qualified healthcare provider.
You must be at least 18 years old to book and receive the Services. Where a Service concerns another person (for example, an additional household member’s chart), you confirm you have that person’s awareness and consent where appropriate.
The Services depend on the accuracy of the information you provide — including birth date, exact birth time, birth location, your question, floor plans, and compass readings. The Provider is not responsible for interpretations affected by inaccurate or incomplete information. This does not affect any refund otherwise due to you under Section 7.
Provider recording: California is an all-party-consent state for recordings (Penal Code §632). By agreeing to this Agreement you consent to the Provider recording a virtual session solely to provide you a copy for personal review, and the Provider will also confirm this verbally at the start of the session. Recordings are a courtesy; technical failure or a corrupted file does not entitle you to a refund.
Client recording: You may not record audio or video of the session without the Provider’s explicit permission given at the start of the meeting.
Intellectual property: Any recording, written report, chart, or materials provided are strictly for your private, personal use. You may not publish, broadcast, upload, resell, or share any part of them on social media, websites, or public platforms without the Provider’s prior written consent. All charts, reports, and interpretive content remain the intellectual property of the Provider.
Booking before any visit: All on-site consultations are booked, agreed to, and paid for in advance through this website, before any visit takes place. The Provider does not solicit business at, or form contracts at, your home.
Safe environment: For on-site consultations, you agree to provide a safe, hazard-free environment. Pets must be secured if requested.
No physical labor: The Provider offers layout, design, and energetic advice only, and will not physically move furniture, lift heavy objects, or perform structural alterations.
Assumption of risk: You assume all risk for any physical changes, furniture rearranging, or structural modifications you choose to make based on the consultation. The Provider is not liable for any damage to the property or injury to persons resulting from those changes, or for pre-existing conditions of the property. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (see Section 8).
Full payment of the Service fee is due at booking to reserve your appointment date and time. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider, and your use of that checkout is also subject to their terms.
Appointment-based Services — Feng Shui consultations, BaZi Natal Chart, and Tarot Deep Reading (Live Session). You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment for a full refund or a free reschedule. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the appointment, or do not attend (a no-show), the Service fee is non-refundable. You and the Provider agree that, because a reserved appointment slot cannot reasonably be rebooked on short notice and preparatory work may already have been performed, this non-refundable amount is a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the Provider’s loss and is retained as liquidated damages, not as a penalty (Civil Code §1671(d)):
Late arrival does not extend your appointment; the session ends at its scheduled time. If the Provider cancels or reschedules for any reason, you will receive — at your choice — a full refund or a rescheduled appointment at no additional charge.
Deliverable-based Services — Qi Men Oracle, Personal Luck Portal, Date Selection, and Tarot Deep Reading (Written). These do not reserve an appointment time. Work begins upon payment and all fees are non-refundable once payment is made.
Emergency exceptions. In cases of genuine emergency beyond your reasonable control — including serious illness or hospitalization, a death in your immediate family, or a natural disaster or government-ordered closure — the Provider may, at her discretion, waive or reduce these charges or offer a reschedule.
On-site travel: included within 30 miles of San Ramon; $0.67 per mile beyond. Refunds, where due, are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; bank and card-network processing times are outside the Provider’s control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including financial loss or emotional distress) arising from your interpretation or application of the Services. The Provider’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under California law — including liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, violation of law, or personal injury (Civil Code §1668) — and nothing in this Agreement waives any right you have under the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act or other law that cannot be waived.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from any third-party claims, lawsuits, or legal fees resulting from your own actions or decisions taken after a Service. This indemnity does not apply to claims arising from the Provider’s own fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.
Your personal details, birth data, questions, and property information are kept confidential and used only to deliver the Services. The Provider does not sell your personal information. How your information is collected, used, and shared is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California. Nothing here prevents either party from bringing a qualifying claim in small claims court.
By checking the acceptance box and completing payment, you agree that you are accepting this Agreement electronically; that your electronic acceptance is the legal equivalent of your handwritten signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act and California’s Uniform Electronic Transactions Act; and that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to all terms above, including the liability waiver and indemnification. The Provider retains a record of your acceptance (your name, email, the date and time, and the version of this Agreement).
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. This Agreement, together with the service descriptions, Privacy Policy, and other policies published on secretsofwisdom.org, forms the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the Services.
